Infrastructure — Modern Roads, Safe Travel & Smart Investment

Indiana Is the Crossroads of America — Let’s Build Like It

From Kokomo to Greentown to Swayzee, our roads, bridges, broadband, and utilities are the backbone of daily life. But years of underinvestment and outdated standards have left communities frustrated — and in some cases, unsafe.

We need infrastructure that works for today’s Hoosiers, not just for highway contractors or political donors.

Toll Out-of-State Semis to Fund Indiana Roads

Non-Indiana plated semi trucks cause a massive share of road wear — and too many get a free ride while Hoosiers foot the bill.

I support:

- Tolling out-of-state semis on major Indiana routes

- Protecting Hoosier-based trucking companies from the added cost

- Reinvesting all funds into local road and bridge repair

This is common sense: if you break it, you help fix it.

Make Our Roads Safer With GPS-Based Speed Limiters

Indiana has one of the highest rates of fatal semi crashes in the Midwest. Speeding semis put working families at risk.

My plan:

- Require speed limiters or Intelligent Speed Assistance on all semis operating in Indiana

- Hold out-of-state fleets accountable

- Improve enforcement on dangerous stretches of highway

Safety shouldn’t be optional.

Invest in Local Roads, Sidewalks & Drainage

Howard County residents see the same issues year after year: potholes, flooding, dangerous intersections, poorly lit roads.

We must:

- Fix local roads on predictable schedules

- Upgrade stormwater systems

- Expand sidewalks near schools and busy intersections

- Modernize traffic signals and signage

Every community deserves to feel safe on the road, whether you drive, walk, bike, or use a mobility device.

Bring High-Speed Broadband to Every Corner of District 30

Families, farmers, students, and small businesses all depend on fast, reliable internet. Rural broadband gaps hold entire communities back.

I support:

- Fiber expansion partnerships

- Grants for unserved and underserved areas

- Standards requiring reliability and fair pricing

- High-speed access for every home, business, and farm

Internet access is as essential as electricity.
